Forgiveness through the week

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Amen

Our help is in the name of the Lord

who made heaven and earth

If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?

But with You there is forgiveness; therefore You are feared.

This is how we began church yesterday morning.  We started in a similar way that we begin every Sunday.   We begin with you are powerful Lord, we are sinners,  we have no power to stand on our own before the God that created the heavens and the earth,

We have no power to stand before him yet here we are standing before him.  We are standing before him because with Him there is forgiveness.  It is a beautiful way to start out our service and time together.  It is also a beautiful thing to take with us through the week.
