Coming This Fall: Forgiven Therefore Free

This fall I am using our local ladies Bible Study as guinea pigs. We are reading the book of Galatians together and using a resource I have been putting together over the past months. Forgiven Therefore Free: A Devotional Study Journal

A hearty portion of this study will show up on my blog this fall and after a test drive with the local ladies it will be available to purchase as a real live print book! (I’m pretty excited about that whole deal)

Forgiven Therefore Free is made up of 6 weeks of study. Inside each of the 6 weeks are 4 devotional readings along with questions to ponder on your own and/or with a group. The print resource will have Illustrations by Visual faith Coach, Valerie Matays. These illustrations are for an adult to color or to keep little fingers busy while you read and answer questions and ponder the truths of Galatians. It also has places to take notes from the scripture readings too.

You can find her useful, creative tools along with the rest of the resources from her visual faith team @ Visual Faith Ministry They have resources for prayer, Bible Study, and Children’s Bulletins. The illustrations created by Valerie will also be available on their website for free also!

The goal of the study journal is not to create something pretty. That may happen in the process.

The goal of the study journal is to encourage us to ponder on what the book of Galatians has for us and what it means for our lives that because of the work of Christ we are forgiven and therefore we are free.

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
